    Moving to Bellevue..has been...

One of the most hardest things I have had to do in my whole life.....I have moved several times even from one country to another and back again but this move was filled with much more heartache .....Although we were eager to move away from New Jersey and start a new adventure we did leave behind the place we called home...the friends we loved to laugh with....the family we have shared special occasions and moments...our life left behind in hopes of building a better tomorrow a better future...and we knew it would be hard at first but we didn't expect to feel homesick and sadness so soon....It will take some time...hard work....perseverance...blood, sweat, and tears but I have a good feeling in the end it will pay off...I won't fail ......^_^

    July 17 2009 HEY

Hahaha...well I thought I could keep up with all these online sites but it's too hard...even so I really liked Spaces and I used it so often ...I got so busy with so many more online sites that I all but abandoned this site... all these social networking sites...forget about it! All my friends had this or that...I try to keep up but wow it is crazy! I have MySpace because of my daughter Karen....Facebook because of my good friend Cheri ( and now everyone of my ex co-workers from the Census are there...) hi5 beacause of my friends in Mex and South America.....Twilight Saga...well because I like Twilight...and then of course Achievement Hunter because of an obvious reason ...I am a gamer and a HUGE achievement whore! Those of you who are gamers understand......and so this just got left behind....I will log on more often see if I can pick where I left (kinda..) I mean already I was deleting all these Spaces I used to love to read and visit and now they are gone or deleted or I have no more access to...and so ..."hey, spaces....^_^ "

    RETURNING TO MSN SPACES

Damn! Incredible how time passes by....Last time I blogged about something Halo Wars was recently announced and now it is soon to be released! Well...I'm back..
I abandoned my msn space due greatly to 2 big reasons....
1.) MSN spaces became msn spaces windows live and it slowed down sooooomuch for me especially since my pc back then was not up to par and so it was very difficult to edit anything in my profile sometimes I could not even log in!
2.) I went back to work.....and at one point I had not time to even check my emails.....I went back in forth between work home my kids and my video games....and so i lost interest in keeping my msn space up.

And so why am I back? Therapeutic of course! I am currently back on disability again and so I have more time for this kind of thing although the pain is so bad at times that I spend days on a medicine binge which makes me extremely sleepy and out of it most of the time...still I must continue to search for the light at the end of the tunnel....

    HALO WARS ?!?!?!? I'M ENLISTING!

    HALO WARS TRAILER!!!
Yesterday at X06, Microsoft's yearly gaming conference event, a new game based on the Halo universe was revealed...HALO WARS. Although this game is a RTS(real-time simulation) it looks and sounds like it will be awesome! We (my kids, my bf and I) are very exicted and just cannot wait to get our hands on this baby.  It was not announced as to when this title would be gracing the shelves but we really hope it's soon. It's time to play new Halo titles! Halo Wars takes place before the Halo 1 storyline and, by what my son saw, he says he thinks they got the inspiration off of the Halo novel storyline. The company in charge of making the game is Ensemble Studios (who developed the famous Age of Empires series). Let's just hope they take the Halo series to a whole new great level.

    Quote for Sept. 20

    There is no greater sorrow...

    Than to recall in misery...

The time when we were happy

    ---DANTE

This quote defintely hits the nail on the head....the memories that make me cry more  are not the bad ones but the good ones....especially when going through a rough patch in my life beacuse they are the constant reminder of what I lack  at that moment. I wish I could go back and feel the warmth of that beautiful memory and for a brief moment I do but then I am hit with th reality I am living. Right now I wish I was living in  2002 ...when I felt hopeful and I felt positive of the future.....I keep telling myself ..Happier times will come....I am waiting.....

    A TEAR IN THE DARK

    A TEAR IN THE DARK

    by Ingrata

I shed a tear in the dark

There's no one there to wipe a drop

    A single pit

    A single pat

    Shatter's a plea

    made by me

    And then...

I shed another tear in the dark

I NEEDED SOME TIME OFF AND AWAY...

    JUNE 23
I had fallen into a semi-deep state of depression....it was like if everything I had been through these past few months all of a sudden fell on to me and  blocked my view...not to mention all the financial problems I have run into because of my inability to work. To top it all off I have some very difficult problems with my mom...and our living situacion here together is not healthy anymore. It is a very complex problem that has been brewing for months but that had been suppressed to the point where neither sides are willing to give in. And so I let myself grieve....it is always good to let out all the negative so that we can be renewed with positive vibes. This is why I didn't even write anything here or anywhere.. I kind of needed to put some thought and some distance between it all....and so I did what I always do every year to recharge my internal bateries.. I went to Argentina....it's a media company I have worked for in the past and luckily they had something for me...so it was a business/personal trip....ah Buenos Aires....I do love it so.....

    JULY 10
I started writing this shortly after my trip to Argentina and was writing some other stuff but a lot happened and I never got a chance to publish any of the entries and so I am doing so for all of them now...I did adjust somethings as I started writing them on those specific dates....
I have so much to fix up in my life! My son Danny got very sick...I almost had to take him to the hospital! Aparently he might need to get his tonsils taken out...I have been taking care of him day and night for about a week I was getting very worried since he had a non stop constant fever of about 102! Finally yesterday it seemed to break and he looks a little better....that was not the only health problem I had to deal with....I also got sick and I took a turn for the worst on Saturday...so that now I was bed ridden all day yesterday! REALLY when it rains it pours! ANd so that is why I have been out for so long....I don't know what will happen with all my problems...but I will try to keep a positive atitude .....I will try....and I won't run away...I musn't run away...I won't...

Specifically, I don't know what it is about going to Argentina, that always helps me both mentally and physically. I have been doing this yearly trip since 2001...I have friends I call family over there and I feel like a fish in water...I know Buenos Aires almost just as much as I know NYC ( my birth city) and somehow I feel right at home....

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

Ever since I went for the first time...it was like deja vu...it was as if somehow I had been there before although of course I had not. The smells seemed familiar and the faces looked like a blur from the past. It was as if I had come back home after a long trip. And so ever since, I return every year..I use to even go twice ...but that was when I was working full time for Argentine media... still I can't complain....I get to go every year ...visit my loved ones and I always get to make new friends.

me in & out backwards & fowards...and one

of the few people in this world I can trust...

Thanks Manu for all your love!

Here we are eating in our fav place, Parrilla Acapulco

The best meat in the world is defintely from Argentina...

Unbelievable! Two of the most importante avenues in Bs As,

Avenida Corrientes & Florida, was empty at 4 p.m....

Why? Because Argentina was facing the Netherlands in

the world cup...they are truly fanatics when it comes to soccer

or should I say footbal as it is known in the rest of the world.

Well I hope I can make the trip again next year, although I really never know, I love Buenos Aires and hope one day I cn buy a house down there and live out the rest of my days drinking mates with me dear friends...Mate as I might have mentioned before is a tea which almost everyone in Argentina drinks ( I also drink everyday) some here in the States might not consider it higenic since everyone drinks from the same bombilla (which is like a straw) and mate but believe me it is so nice to sit down with good friends share an inteligent conversation while drinking some warm mate!

....Mi Buenos Aires querida...espero verte muy pronto otra vez.....

By the way here is a pic of mate...yummy!

A VERY BELATED HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!!!...

HAPPY INDEPENDANCE DAY TO ALL AMERICANS!!!
    U.S.A!! U.S.A!!! U.S.A!!!
...But it's never to late to express my love for this country! I know that it is because I am an American that I feel such an enormous emocion when I hear the U.S National Anthem and I am so proud to be an American even if I don't agree with this governments policies...I was born in New York City (the best city in the world!!..at least for me of course ) into a family of Mexican Immigrants...although by the time I was born my mom was already a US Citizen..my dad became a US Citizen some 16 years ago...Enough of me! Let me leave you with what to me seems like the most beautiful and inspirational anthem in the world......THE STAR SPANGLED BANNER!!! In its full original length with an artist's rendering of the battle of Fort McHenry in the background...the battle which inspired, in 1814, a poem written by Francis Scott Key, a 35 year old amatuer poet and lawyer...I am also including some interesting facts of the United States of America....

    ORIGINAL LENGTH STAR SPANGLED BANNER

O say, can you see, by the dawn's early light,

What so proudly we hailed at the twilight's last gleaming?

Whose broad stripes and bright stars, through the perilous fight,

O'er the ramparts we watched, were so gallantly streaming!

And the rockets' red glare, the bombs bursting in air,

Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there:

O say, does that star-spangled banner yet wave

O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave?

On the shore, dimly seen through the mists of the deep,

Where the foe's haughty host in dread silence reposes,

What is that which the breeze, o'er the towering steep,

As it fitfully blows, half conceals, half discloses?

Now it catches the gleam of the morning's first beam,

In full glory reflected now shines on the stream:

'Tis the star-spangled banner! O long may it wave

O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave!

And where is that band who so vauntingly swore

That the havoc of war and the battle's confusion

A home and a country should leave us no more?

Their blood has washed out their foul footsteps' pollution.

No refuge could save the hireling and slave

From the terror of flight, or the gloom of the grave:

And the star-spangled banner in triumph doth wave

O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave!

O thus be it ever, when freemen shall stand

Between their loved home and the war's desolation!

Blest with victory and peace, may the Heaven-rescued land

Praise the Power that hath made and preserved us a nation.

Then conquer we must, when our cause it is just,

And this be our motto: “In God is our trust.”

And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave

O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave!

    * Independance was declared on July 4th 1776 but it was not
       recognized until September 3, 1783

    * Our original motto was E Pluribus Unum which is Latin for "out of
many, one or from many, one" It referred to the integration of the
13 colonies that made up the nation curiously it has exactly 13
letters...It was selected by the Great Seal Committee and the motto
can be found inside the Great Seal.

    * Our current motto is In God We Trust it replaced E Pluribus Unum  in
        1956

    * At over 3.7 million square miles the U.S is the 3rd largest country
by area. Home to nearly 300 million people, it is the third most
       populous nation.

    * The largest city in the U.S is New York City, it has a population of 8.1
million within an area of 321 square miles. It's metropolitan area
has a population of 18.7 million

    * The 50 stars on the flag represent the 50 states and the 13 stripes
        the 13 original colonies.

    * The U.S flag has gone through 26 changes since the new union of 13
        states first adopted it.

    * The 48 star flag has been the longest version used (1912-1959)
and the current 50 star flag will tie it, with 47 years, if it is still in
        use on July 4, 2007.

    * The union of the current 50 star flag was designed by Robert G. Heft
He was 17 at the time and did it as a class project...He originally
recieved a B- for the project and as a joke the teacher told him if
the flag was accepted by congress the teacher would change the
grade. The teacher did so when his flag was chosen...changing the
        B- to an A.

    * Heft's design was chosen and adopted after Alaska and before
Hawaii was admitted into the union in 1959.

    * June 14 is Flag Day and it was instituted on 1916 by Woodrow
       Wilson.

    9 DE JULIO/JULY 9TH ARGENTINE INDEPENDANCE DAY

    HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY!!!
TO ALL MY FILIA EN ARGENTINA!!
    & TO ALL ARGENTINES!!!
I SALUTE THE GREAT PEOPLE OF ARGENTINA!!!

    ARGENTINE NATIONAL ANTHEM

    Mortals! Hear the sacred cry:

    Freedom, freedom, freedom!

Hear the noise of broken chains,

    see noble Equality enthroned.

Rises to the heights of the Earth

    a new and glorious nation,

crowned it its head with laurels,

and at her feet lying a Lion.

    Chorus

    May the laurels be eternal,

that we knew how to win.

Let us live crowned with glory...

    or swear to die gloriously.

From the new Champions their faces

    Mars himself seems to encourage

    Greatness nestes in their bodies:

at their march everything they make tremble.

    The dead Inca get shaken,

an in their bones the ardour revives

which gets to renew their children of the Motherland the ancient splendour.

Mountain ranges and walls are felt to resound with horrible din: the whole country gets disturbed by cries

of revenge, of war and rage. In the fiery tyrants the envy spit the pestipherous bile; their bloody standard they rise provoking the most cruel combat.

Don't you see them over Mexico and Quito

    throwing themselves with tenacious viciousness?

And who they cry, bathed in blood,

Potosí, Cochabamba and La Paz? Don't you see them over sad Caracas

    spreading mourning and weeping?

Don't you see them devouring as wild animals

all people they get their surrender from?

    To you it dares, Argentinians,

    the pride of the vile invader;

your fields it steps on, retelling so many glories as winner.

But the brave ones, that united swore

their merry freedom sustain, to those blood-thirsty tigers bold breasts they will know to oppose.

The valiant Argentinian to arms runs burning with determination and bravery,

the war bugler, as thunder, in the fields of the South resounds.

Buenos Ayres opposes, leading the people of the illustrious Union, and with robust arms they tear the Iberian arrogant lion.

    San José, San Lorenzo, Suipacha,

    both Piedras, Salta and Tucumán,

La Colonia and the same walls of the tyrant in the Banda Oriental.

They are eternal signboards they say:

here the Argentinian arm found triumph,

here the fierce oppresor of the Motherland

    his proud cervix bent.

    Victory to the Argentine warrior

    covered with its brilliant wings,

and embarrassed at this view the tyrant

    with infamy took to flight.

Its flags, its arms surrender as trophies to freedom,

and above wings of glory the people rise

the worthy throne of their great majesty.

From a pole to the other resounds the fame of the sonorous bugler,

and of America the name showing they repeat "Mortals, hear:

The United Provinces of the South have now displayed their very honorable throne".

And the free people of the world reply:

"WE SALUTE THE GREAT PEOPLE OF ARGENTINA!"

    May the laurels be eternal,

that we knew how to win.

Let us live crowned with glory...

    or swear to die gloriously!

    Some facts on Argentnia:

    * It's the 8th largest country in the world

    * Population is nearly 40 million

    * The name Argentina derives from the Latin word argentum which
means silver. And that name was given by the conquistadores who
discovered El Rio de la Plata (River of Silver). Natives gave gifts
of silver to the survivors of the shipwrecked expedition led by
        Juan Diaz de Solis.

    * The name Argentina was first used in Ruy Díaz de Guzmán's 1612
book Historia del descubrimiento, población, y conquista del Río de
la Plata (History of the discovery, population, and conquest of the Río
de la Plata), naming the territory Tierra Argentina (Land of Silver).

    * The fight for independance from Spain was started on May 25 1810
and that day is a national holiday in Argentina.

    * It's independance was declared on July 9 1816 and was first
        recognized by Portugal in 1821.

    * In Argentina the voseo is commonly used. Voseo is the use of the
second person singular pronoun vos  in the Spanish language instead
of , which is often considered the standard. This pronoun comes
from the Old Spanish form vos, which was the formal  expression
